Field Directions

Chester – Chubb Park – The park is located on the west-bound side of Rt. 24.  The park is ½ mile west of the intersection with Rt. 206.  Upon entering the park, follow the gravel road all the way to the end.  You will come to a parking lot.  Next to the parking lot is a small soccer field with a playground just beyond it.  Classes are held on this soccer field.

Denville – Morris Catholic HS – Click on the following link for general directions:  http://www.morriscatholic.info/directions.asp 

Classes are held in the outfield of the softball field.  If the field is muddy, the coaches will conduct the class on the artificial turf baseball/football field.

Essex Fells – Grover Cleveland Park – The park is on Brookside Avenue. 

From the south:  from the intersection of Eagle Rock Avenue and Roseland Avenue, take Roseland Avenue north approximately 1 mile to Borough Place, turn left, bear left onto Runnymede Road; continue to end, turn right onto Brookside Avenue.  Park is on right.

From the east or west:  from the intersection of Bloomfield Avenue and Roseland Avenue, take Roseland Avenue – make immediate right onto Westville Avenue; after Westville Avenue turns left, stay straight onto Brookside Avenue.  Park is on left.  Classes are held on the large lawn adjacent to Brookside Avenue.  Parking is allowed on the "park side" of Brookside Avenue.

Flanders – Flanders Park – The park is located on Flanders-Bartley Rd. between the intersections of Rt. 206 and Pleasant Hill Rd.

From Route 31 Southbound, make a left onto Church Street (WaWa on left corner).  Make a left onto Royal Road (Commerce Bank on corner).  Make a right onto Colony Road.  Make another right onto Kings Court.  Proceed to the last building on right.  From Route 31 Northbound, proceed through Flemington Circle.  At light, make a left onto Church Street.  Make first right onto Royal Road (Commerce Bank on left).  Make first right onto Colony Road.  Make first right onto Kings Court.  Proceed to last building on the right.

Upon entering the park, drive all the way to the end of the road.  You will arrive at a parking lot and there will be a lake to your left.  Park here and follow the path past the lake.  This will take you to a softball field where we hold the classes. 

Livingston – Monmouth Court Community Center – The community center is located at the end of Monmouth Court.  Monmouth Court is near the intersection of Northfield Ave. and Livingston Ave.  From Route 10, take Northfield Avenue – go about 2 miles and make a left turn onto Winchester (it is a residential road and the street sign also has a sign for Monmouth Community Center).  Then make a right onto Monmouth Court. Behind the building is a softball field where the classes are conducted.

Long Valley – Schooley’s Mountain Park – Click on the following link for general directions:  http://www.morrisparks.net/aspparks/schooleysdir.asp  Enter the park at the entrance off of Springtown Rd.  Do not enter the park at the entrance off of Camp Washington Rd.  Upon entering the park, immediately on your right will be a large field.  Classes are conducted here. 

Madison – Lucy D. Anthony Park – From the direction of Chatham, head west on Main Street into Madison.  Bear right at Park Avenue.  Turn right at Ridgedale Avenue.  Go about 0.3 mile and turn left on Myrtle.  The park is on Myrtle Avenue.  From the direction of Morristown, head east on Madison Avenue.  Bear left at Park Avenue.  Turn right at Ridgedale.  For about 0.3 mile and turn left on Myrtle.  The park is on Myrtle Avenue.

Mendham – Borough Park – The park is off of Orchard St. which is off of Main St. (Rt. 24).  Upon turning onto Orchard St. from Main St., proceed ¼ mile and make a left towards the Mendham Co-Op Nursery School.  Pull into the gravel parking lot and park next to the basketball courts.  Classes are held in the outfield of the softball field which is next to the basketball courts.

Millburn – Taylor Park -   The park is located in downtown Millburn just off of Millburn Ave.  Classes are held in the middle of the park.  Best places to park are either on Main St. or Whittingham Terrace. 

Montclair – Brookdale Park – The park is bordered by Watchung Avenue, Grove Street, and Bellevue Avenue.  There are multiple entrances to the park.  Upon entering the park from any of the entrances, you will come onto the one-way road that loops around the park in a counter clock-wise direction.  Within this loop is a small football/soccer stadium with an artificial turf field.  Classes will be held on this field.  There is parking on both sides of the field. 

Morris Twp. – Loantaka Park – Click on the following link for general directions:  http://www.morrisparks.net/aspparks/loantakadir.asp   Park in the parking lot off of South St.  Classes are held on the soccer field next to the parking lot. If you need further clarification, you can Mapquest using this address:  435 South Street, Morristown, NJ  07960.  This is an office building across the street from the park entrance.

Oakland - Oakland Recreation Complex - From Ramapo Valley Road, take Oak Street to the complex.  Park in the main parking lot.  Classes will be held on the large field adjacent to the parking lot.

Parsippany - Smith Field - The field is located on the East-Bound side of Route 46 between Baldwin Road and South Beverwyck Road.  There is an artificial turf field at the park and this is where we hold the Kiddie Soccer class.

Parsippany – Veterans Park –   The park is located on the east-bound side of Rt. 46 at the intersection with Vail Rd.  Classes are held on the artificial turf soccer field.

Parsippany – Volunteers Park - The park is off of N. Beverwyck Rd., just north of the intersection with Vail Rd.  Heading north on N. Beverwyck Rd., make a right turn onto Claudine Terrace.  Claudine Terrace is ¼ mile from the intersection of Vail Rd. and N. Beverwyck Rd.  As soon as you turn onto Claudine Terrace, there are signs for Volunteers Park.  The classes will be held in the outfield of the softball field which is part of the "Upper" field.

Randolph – Brundage Park – The park is on Carrell Rd. which is off of Millbrook Ave.  Do not enter the park on Sussex Tpk.  Enter the park at the entrance next to the tennis courts on Carrell Rd.  Go to the very back of the parking lot.  You will see a grassy area next to the picnic area and the skateboard park.  This is where the classes are held.

Randolph - Hedden Park  - There are multiple field areas at Hedden Park.  We will be using the area off of Concord Road.  Please go to:  www.parks.morris.nj.us/aspparks/heddendir.asp

Randolph – Heistein Park – The park is on South Rd. which is off of Dover/Chester Rd.  The park can be entered either via Doby Rd. or South Rd.  Upon entering from either entrance, you will see a pavilion in the middle of the park.  Park near the pavilion.  The classes are held in the outfield of the little league baseball field.

Randolph - Kozak Sports - Kozak Sports Center is in the Aspen Business Park on Middlebury Boulevard, off Canfield Avenue in Randolph NJ. Canfield Avenue (also marked as County Road 669) runs from US Highway 46 in the north, crossing State Highway 10 and ending on Sussex Turnpike on the south. Middlebury Boulevard (and the Aspen Business Park) is on the western side of Canfield Avenue, about 0.5 miles north of Route 10 and about 1.3 miles south of Highway 46. Kozak Sports Center is on the right side of Middlebury Boulevard, about 0.3 miles west from the Canfield Avenue intersection.  The building is brown brick with a large clock and white number 6 in the upper right corner of the front of the building.

South Orange – Meadowland Park / Floods Hill – From South Orange Avenue, turn right onto Ridgewood Road North.  Turn right onto Mead Street.  Turn left onto Meadowbrook Lane.  Park on Meadowbrook Lane.  This is the bottom of Floods Hill and is where the classes will take place. 

Wayne – Packanack Lake – Kilroy Field – Take Route 23 to Packanack Lake Road.  Turn East (right from the North-bound lane).  As you near the bottom of the hill, bear right onto Osborne Terrace.  The field is just past the fire house on the right.

South Jersey

Marlton - Blue Barn - Evesham Rec. Center - 1001 Tuckerton Road - From Mt. Laurel and Moorestown Area take Moorestown Mt. Laurel Road and continue onto Elmwood Road.  Turn left on E. Main St. and continue onto Tuckerton Rd.  Blue Barn will be on your right.  It is the building with the blue roof.  Enter through the Memorial Park entrance.  Parking is available around the building and restrooms are inside.

From the Cherry Hill Area take Route 73 South and cross over Route 70.  Get into left lane after crossing Route 70 and make left turn onto Main Street.  Go exactly 3 miles on Main Street to Blue Barn on the right (then see above).

From the Marlton Area - Take Route 70 East.  Make a left onto N. Elmwood Road.  Then make another left onto Main Street.  Continue onto Tuckerton Road and the Blue Barn will be on the right (then see above).

Marlton - Savich Field - East Main Street - From Marlton take Tuckerton Rd. east bound. Continue onto Main St. Please note you will pass Memorial Complex and Evesham Township Complex on your left. Cross over North Elmwood Rd passing Indian Springs golf course on your left. Go ¼ mile and make right into Savich’s Field. Parking will be directly ahead and classes will be held on the soccer fields.

From Route 70 going east bound make a left on North Elmwood Rd. Make a right on East Main St. Go about ¼ mile and make right into Savich’s Field. Parking directly ahead and classes will be held on the soccer fields.

From Mt. Laurel and Moorestown Townships:  Take Moorestown Mt. Laurel Rd towards Marlton area. Continue onto North Elmwood Rd. Make a right on East Main St. Go ¼ mile and make right into Savich’s Field. Parking will be directly ahead and classes will be held on the soccer fields.

Mercer County Park East - From: North & South via Interstate 295- Take 295 to exit 65A, Sloan Ave. East on Sloan, at the third traffic light make a left onto Edinburg Rd. At the third traffic light on Edinburg, make a left onto Dutch Neck-Edinburg Rd. Mercer Park East is on your left and bathrooms and parking are directly ahead.

From: South via Rt. 1 - Cross Toll Bridge into New Jersey on US Rt. 1. Take first right onto Quakerbridge Rd. Travel 2.2 miles and turn left onto Hughes Dr. Proceed on Hughes Dr. to the first traffic light. Make left onto Edinburg Rd. At the second traffic light on Edinburg, make a left onto Dutch Neck-Edinburg Rd. Mercer Park East is on the left and bathrooms and parking are directly ahead.

From: South via NJ Rt. 130/206 - Follow Rt. 130 North to 526 Robbinsville. Turn left at the traffic light onto Rt. 526 and right at the next traffic light. From this point travel 3 miles to Rt 535( Edinburg Rd). Turn right on Rt 535 to the next traffic light. Make a left onto Dutch Neck-Edinburg Rd. Mercer Park East is on the left and bathrooms and parking are directly ahead.

From: North via Rt. 1 - Take Rt. 1 South of Princeton to Rt 533 (Quakerbridge Rd). Bear right off of Rt. 1 into jug handle, cross over Rt. 1 onto 533. Travel 2.2 miles and turn left onto Hughes Rd. At the first traffic light make a left onto Edinburg Rd. At the second traffic light on Edinburg, make a left onto Dutch Neck Edinburg-Rd. Mercer Park East is on left and bathrooms and parking is directly ahead.

Stoughton- Gibbon's Field- The Gibbons field is located at 235 Morton Street in Stoughton.  From Rte. 138, turn onto Plain Street and take a right onto Morton Street.  The school is on the left, and the field is situated behind the school.    

Canton- Devoll Playground- Devoll Playground is located on Bolivar Street, at the intersection of Bolivar, Pine, and Pleasant Streets.

Rockland - Hartsuff Park - From the intersection of Route 123 and Hingham Street, follow Route 123 another 600 feet.  Then turn right onto Hartsuff Street.  The field will be at the end of the dirt road.

Sharon- Ames Street Park (New Friends of the Playground)- The Ames Street Playground is located on Ames Street between Cottage Street and Pond Street.  Parking and access to the park is available on Ames Street directly in front of the playground, or on Pond Street across from Sharon High School.  Classes are held in the outfield of the baseball diamonds. 

Easton- Borderland State Park- For general directions, click here:  http://www.mass.gov/dcr/parks/borderland/  Where Bay Road intersects Borderland Ave. and Allen Road, turn onto Borderland Ave.  Follow to the end and take a right onto Massapoag Ave.  The entrance to Borderland is on the right. From Sharon, follow Massapoag Ave. into Easton, with the park entrance on the left.  Parking is $2/visit, or $35/year and is valid at all MA state parks.  Parking regulations are strictly enforced.

Quincy - O'rourke Field - 500 Quarry Street, Qunicy, MA  02169.  From 93N, take Exit 8 "Furnace Brook Parkway."  Stay right onto Parkway and at the second light, turn left.  O'rourke Field will be on your right.

Quincy - Kincaid Field - 332 Water Street, Qunicy, MA  02169.  From MA-24 N, take I-93 (exit # 21A) to US-1 N.  From US-1 N, take Exit #8 toward Quincy.  Enter the next roundabout and take the first exit onto Furnace Brook Parkway.  Turn right onto Miller Street, then slight right onto Copeland Street.  Copeland Street becomes Water Street - Kincaid Field is on the right.
